Why is Niuk more effective than a traditional jade roller?

If you're a beauty fan (like me), you've probably already heard of jade rollers. These cute little tools, often green and elegant, have invaded our Instagram feeds and bathrooms. And I'm going to explain why, using Shakira's comparison of the Twingo and the Ferrari (and the Casio vs. the Rolex). I won't tell you who's who (although I think you already have a bit of an idea). But no spoilers, follow me and I'll tell you everything!

Niuk and its icy secret

Let's start with the obvious: cold! Niuk was designed to be used at a temperature of 0°F -18°C. Yes, you read that right, ice cold like a morning smoothie. Unlike the jade roller, which stays at room temperature, Niuk uses cold to maximize its effects. But why is this so important, you ask?

Cold has incredible benefits for the skin. It causes vasoconstriction, meaning the blood vessels contract. The result? Less redness, less puffiness, and an immediate decongestant effect. Perfect for those who wake up with bags under the eyes or a puffy face. And that's not all: the cold also stimulates blood circulation, which helps deliver oxygen and nutrients to your skin, making it more radiant.

The jade roller, on the other hand, doesn't benefit from this icy effect. It remains at room temperature, which is pleasant, of course, but much less effective for achieving these results.
